Amphibians are widely regarded as the most threatened vertebrate group globally. Habitat change and diseases are identified as the top two drivers of amphibian declines. To better understanding how disease and human activities associated with urbanization influence amphibian communities, we have developed a collaboration between community natural groups with researchers at UW-Madison to help monitor amphibian populations in urban ponds across Madison, WI.
